On Sunday, June 28 at 3:45 PM, our COO and CTO, Dr. John Johnson, will review the role of gravity in liquid phase sintering of tungsten heavy alloys by tracing the findings from over four decades of experiments conducted aboard sounding rockets, spaceships, and space stations. The resulting models are beneficial for improved microstructural and dimensional control on Earth and for processing materials in low gravity environments as humans return to the Moon.
